Efe Genc
I'm a full-stack product engineer building early-stage, AI-native products across web, mobile, backend and the AI product layer.
I take underspecified problems from product definition and architecture through implementation, rollout and production verification.

Six systems, stated precisely
LILA
A proactive AI assistant whose hardest problem is not generating more but knowing when not to speak, enforced by a twelve-check delivery gate that decides whether, when, and to whom a signal should actually reach.
Cendra
One of two founding engineers: primary owner of the web application's 27 product areas and both native mobile apps, of the product layer around Cendra's AI, and of the frontend path to production. The distinguishing deep dive: eliminating roughly 19,000 unnecessary pushes a day, extrapolated from production telemetry.
ReadyFly
Made the first commit and authored roughly 75% of the web app (157 of 209 commits) behind Maya, ReadyFly's AI career agent — you don't apply; Maya brings interview invites. Built Maya's candidate experience, the live dual-agent landing readyfly.io serves today, and the site's GDPR consent enforcement.
Interfarm
Named in a TÜBİTAK-funded proposal as the only person listed for its AI and machine-learning work, and built both halves of that brief: the fuzzy-logic control layer deciding climate, nutrient and lighting behaviour inside a sealed vertical farm, and the browser application it is operated through.
Actio
Milapasa's digital event-management product — registration, participant categorisation and reporting. I designed its landing page, represented the product in the field and moderated its live events, running QR-code check-in with the team.
Archive Engineering
An autonomous documentary pipeline built on verified US public-domain sources, where originality and rights are enforced as architecture: SHA-256 provenance hashing and a default-deny rights ledger gate every clip before it can be used.

95% Less Water Is a Control Problem
Vertical farming's sustainability promises, 95% less water, zero pesticide, eight times the yield, are controlled rather than grown. What a TÜBİTAK-funded project's committed targets taught me about where the climate value of agtech lives: in the software layer holding the set points.
The Controller You Can Read
Inside a sealed vertical farm with no logged history, I chose fuzzy logic over a learned model, because a control decision you cannot explain is a crop you cannot diagnose. When rules beat models, why traceability was the deciding property, and the condition under which the choice expires.
The Hardest Part of a Proactive Assistant Is Knowing When Not to Speak
A proactive assistant pays far more for a bad interruption than it earns from a good one, so suppression deserves to be architecture rather than a threshold. What I built instead: one delivery gate, twelve ordered checks, and every rejection logged with its reason.
Building an early-stage product that needs end-to-end ownership?
I’m open to senior, founding and product-engineering roles in the UK where I can work close to the problem, the users and the code.
